Training
The Columbus Cadet Squadron's Ground Team has a very busy training schedule, which can be viewed on this web site. We work as hard as we can to run a practice mission of some type every other month. Whether just a unit mission, joint mission, or wing-wide, we try to get out there all the time. We focus on ELT searches, as this is our primary mission. However, we train frequently in lost person searches, land navigation, search techniques, tracking, communications, and medical.
