Communications
Cadet Darrick Byers is the cadet communications officer. Upon joining the Columbus Cadet Squadron, each cadet goes through an orientation period, which now includes the basic communications class. If you want to know what they are taught in the communications orientation, then check out the Civil Air Patrol's Communications Manual, CAPM 100-1. If they enjoy communications or want to learn more, then they are encouraged to attend the squadron's ES training as well as the wing training.
